BHvsWF Remix MBM!

Beatheart vs. Warmen Fussi have submitted a remix of the track "Wild", the second single off Meat Beat Manifesto's lastest album, At the Center. Described as "non-jazzy" by Beatheart (implying it sounds nothing like the original track), the remix finds BHvsWF exploring the darker side of electro. Keep an eye out for a teaser on www.beatheart.com.

Opening Music for BARR/Animal Collective!

Fans who attended the recent West Coast dates of the BARR/Animal Collective tour may have noticed some funky and somewhat familiar electronic music before the show... Beatheart vs. Warmen Fussi's new batch of songs were premiered in front of a live sold-out audience and the reaction was incredibly positive-- Indie kids, confused and enchanted by the low frequency rumbles, bleeps and beats found themselves dancing (and breakdancing) uncontrollably. This was followed by a hellacious one-two punch of BARR's dynamic and enthralling set and Animal Collective's 2-hour sonic assuault. An amazing evening indeed!

Hint: It's a Horse...

For those of you not in-the-know, the California Aggie is one of Northern California's oldest and most-trusted news sources. So it's no surprise they've decided to publish a 107 word article on the music of Beatheart vs Warmen Fussi in their informative Arts & Entertainment section. Sadly, there's no pictures (the paper claims their request for promotional material was rudely declined). At the time of this writing, the Associated Press had picked up the story and fans have confirmed its inclusion in the Lancaster Gazzette and Fontana's Fashion Plaza Free Circular.

SXSW Showcase Cancelled...

Sad news indeed. Due to Warmen's outstanding warrant for arrest in Travis County, Texas, Beatheart vs Warmen Fussi's showcase at SXSW has been cancelled (well, that and something about a rejection letter from the SXSW application panel). When pressed for details about the circumstances surrounding the warrant, Warmen would only say "..it was just a little felony... one of my first and something I should've taken care of long ago. My deepest apologies go out to the fans who've already booked flights and bought wristbands in anticipation of seeing us perform in Austin".

Oh well, there's always next year.
